A Community Exhibition

At Knox Gallery, Monterey Library, from December 13th, 2024 to January 25th, 2025.

Welcome to this year’s community art exhibition at Knox Gallery: YOU’LL NEVER GET BORED WHEN YOU TRY SOMETHING NEW.

We’ve based this year’s theme on a favorite Dr. Seuss quote, “You’ll never get bored when you try something new. There’s no limit to what you can do.” This is your opportunity to work with new materials, try a different art style, play with scale and craft - the possibilities are endless!

If you’d like to submit work for this show, please complete an INTENT TO ENTER FORM, linked below. Please fill out the form online, and reach out to Mark at montereylibrary@gmail.com with any questions.

Each artist may submit a piece of 2- or 3- dimensional work, which should be not more than 24”x18” or 430 square inches, including the frame. Please note that we cannot accept larger pieces.

Work will need to be dropped off to the gallery either Monday December 9, between 7 PM and 9 PM or Tuesday, December 10, between 10 AM and 12 noon. WE DO NOT HAVE THE CAPACITY TO STORE ARTWORK, so your work must be submitted and retrieved during the designated hours.

We hope the topic will inspire you, and we look forward to seeing your results!
