A Community Exhibition
At Knox Gallery, Monterey Library, from December 13th, 2024 to January 25th, 2025.
Please note that no late entries will be accepted.
IMPORTANT DETAILS:
One (1) piece of work per artist; all media accepted. Exhibition is open to all Monterey artists and friends.
Both 2- and 3-dimensional pieces are welcome in this exhibit, but no work greater than 24"x18" or 430 square inches total (including frame) will be accommodated as we cannot accept larger pieces.
Work intended to be hung must be framed and ready to hang; otherwise, pedestals are available for non-hanging 3-dimensional (please contact the gallery directly to request pedestal for exhibit). Frames must be wired (no sawtooth hangers or other hooks). Please wire tightly in upper 1/3 of presented piece. Work that is not properly framed and wired will not be accepted.
All work must be hand-delivered and picked up in-person; please see dates for delivery and pick-up below.
Please attach art identification labels to work prior to delivery. One label must be placed so that it is easily readable from the front (will be removed after installation) and one label securely attached to the back. Labels must include Artist Name, Title of Work, Medium, Size, Price or ‘NFS' if not for sale, and Primary Phone and/or email address; a printable copy of the art labels can be downloaded for print by clicking the button below.
Artists are encouraged to submit a biography, artist statement, or other information on one 8.5”x11” piece of paper for inclusion in the “Artists Notebook” on display in Knox Gallery.

Art Drop-Off & Pick-Up
Exhibition participants must deliver their art to the Monterey Library on either the evening of Monday, December 9, 2024 (7 PM - 9 PM) or the morning of Tuesday, December 10, 2024 (10 AM to 12 PM Noon); Volunteers will be on-site at the library to assist you and will take care of installation.
Participants must pick up their art after the show on Saturday, January 20, 2025, from either noon - 1 PM or 7 PM - 9 PM, or on Monday, January 27th from 7 PM - 9 PM.
