Rob Hoogs will lead a Monterey historic mills

hike on Saturday, September 23, from 1 to 3 p.m.,

beginning at the Monterey Library. We will learn

about mills along the Konkapot River including

foundations of several eighteenth-century mills, old

mill dams, and other historic features.

Be prepared to walk on some uneven terrain with

a few wet spots. Wear hiking shoes, bring trekking

poles if you like, and bug repellant. Total two hours,
